We here at Punknews love weird random merch stories, so here's one for you. Vannen Watches is releasing the limited edition Descendents "Cool Watch" on Friday, December 9th. Watches are $85 and limited to 300 pieces with packaging signed and numbered by the entire band. Each purchase also comes with an assortment of Descendents and Vannen stickers. As a fun twist, six random watches will come with an autographed card from artist Brian Ewing that is redeemable for a limited edition Descendents print that he created for their NYC show back in September. "Cool Watch" will be available at descendentsonline.com, vannenwatches.com, KingsRoadMerch.com, select Newbury Comics locations, and Descendents live shows.

The band last released Cool To Be You in 2004. They've done a handful of reunion shows in 2011 and have recently announced another show in Denver in the new year.
