British powermetal band Dragonforce have completed their new album. The album will be the band's first album since singer Mark Hudson joined the band, replacing original lead singer Z.P. Theart, and follow the band's 2008 record, Ultra Beatdown. The band expects to release the new record in the spring of this year.
The band will also be playing a special one-off show at London's 100 Club for the Chinese New Year, to celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Dragon. Guitarist Herman Li commented: "We are all glad to be finished in the studio, especially given that the new record is sounding fantastic! We're looking forward to letting off steam at the 100 Club and announcing that in the Year of the Dragon, DRAGONFORCE are well and truly back!" The show will take place on February 16th. Tickets are available through the band's website.
