Russ Rankin, known for his work with groups such as Good Riddance and Only Crime, announced via his twitter that he has begun work on a solo project:

Starting my first solo album. Trying to make it a "Three Song Thursday" with [Paul Miner of Buzzbomb Studio].

Rankin last released Virulence in 2007 with Only Crime.
