Titus Andronicus, Franz Nicolay featured on X-Ray Spex tribute

X-Ray Spex
by John Flynn 12 years ago

Feminist collective Permanent Wave has released a tribute album to groundbreaking UK punk act X-Ray Spex. The 13-song album features artists such as Titus Andronicus, Franz Nicolay, and more. In honor of late X-Ray Spex frontwoman Poly Styrene, who passed away last year to breast cancer, proceeds from the album's sales will go to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which provides assistance to musicians facing illness or disability.

You can stream and/or buy the album on Permanent Wave's Bandcamp page.
