Sparta have announced their first tour dates in a number of years. The band did reunite in their hometown last year but haven't left the state since 2007. The band is, of course, the post-At the Drive-In project from guitarist Jim Ward. They last released Threes and in the intervening years, Ward released solo material under his own name and as Sleepercar. Of course, it was pretty hard to miss Ward over the last few months, after ATDI reunited in January.

The shows will feature support from UK-based "cut-and-paste" artist Ki:Theory.
