SPIN and Dr. Frank list 20 essential Lookout Records songs

SPIN and Dr. Frank list 20 essential Lookout Records songs
Contributed by david5345, Posted by John Flynn Lookout 14 years ago

With the long-running label Lookout Records having finally given up the ghost earlier this year, SPIN Magazine has seen fit to compile a list of the 20 most essential songs in the label's catalog. To do this, they've enlisted The Mr. T Experience frontman Dr. Frank, aka Frank Portman, who contributes a list of 19 songs, including classics from Operation Ivy, Green Day, Screeching Weasel, The Queers, and more. Rounding out the list, as chosen by SPIN staffer Charles Aaron, is Mr. T Experience's "Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba."

You can check out the complete list, along with write-ups on each song by Dr. Frank, here.
