San Diego's Fenix TX, who have been promising a new album since 2009, have apparently begun writing for this long-delayed follow up to 2001's Lechuza. So far, they've only released the live album, Purple Reign in Blood: Live, since reuniting in 2005.

They posted a photo to their Twitter along with the note: "You just have to start off FTX writing studio sessions the right way."
