Jimmy Cliff announces Tim Armstrong-produced 'Rebirth'

Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff has announced a title, release date and more details for his new album which was produced by Rancid's Tim Armstrong. The record is titled Rebirth and is due out July 17th, 2012 via Universal. It will include four of the six songs from last year's Sacred Fire EP including covers of The Clash's "Guns of Brixton" and Rancid's "Ruby Soho."
