Your Demise vocalist Ed McRae posted a photograph to his Instagram account depicting five men, presumably himself and the other band members, dressed in what appears to be 'brownface' make-up, on Halloween night.

The image, complete with mock-turbans and mock-vermilion, provoked an online backlash, and the band, based in the South of England, subsequently took to their Facebook page to apologise for any offence caused. The picture was also removed from McRae's Instagram profile.

Whilst said apology was still up on the morning of November the 1st, UK time, it has since been removed. No further mention of the incident has been made by the band, at the time of writing.
