All anyone's been talking about around Chicago these days are the rumors of Fueled By Ramen signing multiple bands from the area. The label has already signed Punchline, and now both Fall Out Boy and August Premier have joined the FBR ranks.
The label has confirmed the signing of Fall Out Boy, saying "Fueled By Ramen is super excited to announce the newest member of the FBR family: Fall Out Boy! FOB are a young band from Chicago who have been making noise and turning heads all over the midwest. They are putting finishing touches on their debut full-length up at world famous Smart Studios and Gravity Studios with all-star producer Sean O'Keefe (Knockout, Motion City Soundtrack). Look for their debut CD to drop this May."
FBR has not confirmed the signing of August Premier yet, but according to the band's former label, Little League Records: "AUGUST .fucking. PREMIER HAS BEEN SIGNED BY FUELED BY RAMEN!!!! Congratulations to our very first lovely band. We love them and wish them the best in your future with FBR. Look for their debut FBR full length in stores early summer."
