Nirvana, The Replacements nominated for Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Two of the most influential American punk bands have made the list of nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Nirvana and The Replacements are notable among a list of contenders which also includes Kiss, Chic, Hall and Oates, N.W.A., Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, LL Cool J, Cat Stevens, Link Wray, Yes, and The Zombies

Voting begins today and runs through December 10th with ballots cast here. The 29th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held in April 2014 in New York.
