Seattle, WA's These Arms Are Snakes have signed to Jade Tree. The band's members have performed in bands such as Botch, Nineironspitfire, and Kill Sadie. The press release describes These Arms Are Snakes as matching "their determined rock with side-winding sonic parallels and layers of subtle confusion. For reference think the nouveau punk of Public Image Ltd., all-or-nothing pandemonium of Universal Order of Armageddon, prog-rock leanings of Cave In, and millennium thrash of Blood Brothers." The band is recording their debut EP "This Is Meant To Hurt You" with Matt Bayles (Blood Brothers, Isis) at the end of April for an August 12 release.
