Green Day will be releasing a limited vinyl edition of American Idiot on November 27, 2015 and it will be available exclusively at independent record stores in the United States. This reissue will be a double LP release limited to 5,000 copies. Disc 1 will come in red and black and disc 2 will come in white and black.

American Idiot was originally released on September 21, 2004 on Reprise Records.
