The annual Joey Ramone birthday bash is taking place May 19 at the Studio in Webster Hall in NYC. This year, a host of musicians will be playing The Ramones debut LP in full. Musicians playing the album include Blondie’s Clem Burke, Dead Boys’ Cheetah Chrome, Minutemen’s Mike Watt and The Bullys’ Walt Stack. Before that, the Dictators' Andy Shernoff, the Barb Wire Dolls, David Peel & the Lower East Side, The Threads, Tracy Thornton’s Pans For Punks will be performing a set. There is also mention of a "Special surprise band."
