Last night, while Against Me! was performing in North Carolina, Laura Jane Grace burned her birth certificate in protest of the Hb2 bill, which would require people to use the bathroom of the gender that they were assigned at birth. Grace shouted out "Goodbye gender!" and set the paper ablaze. See a video of the event below.
