As you may recall, late last year, some schmuck who we don't need to mention, bought Wu-Tang Clan's rare, one-of-a-kind copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album for two million dollars, making it the most expensive record ever sold. (Note: said schmuck is a schmuck not necessarily because he paid a lot of money for a Wu-Tang album- who knows, it may be that good… we wouldn't know as we haven't heard it as it is one-of-a-kind- but he is a schmuck for other reasons). Well, prompted by the sale of that album, Wu-Tang's U-God become concerned about Wu-Tang's accounting practices and has filed a lawsuit against the business organization Wu-Tang clan. U-God states that he is entitled to twice-annual payments from the Clan, but has not received any money since 2010. He also states that he has not received any money at all from the sale of the world's most expensive record. Interestingly, in the complaint, U-God specially alleges that main Wu Producer, RZA, is masterminding this plan to cheat U-God out of his royalties.
