Lots of Less Than Jake news… First of all, they are in the process of buying the new record, "Borders and Boundaries" back from Capital and are going to release it on an independant label. No more majors for LTJ. Replacing sax player Derron is Pete, formally of the band Spring Heeled Jack. When asked what the new record will sound like, Vinnie replied "I say this- it has less ska, more horns, has lots of poppy punk, the vocals are amazing, the horns are amazing, serious lyrics, funny lyrics, slower songs, faster songs and there's catchiness everywhere. It sounds like us, plain and simple. I think the best ska song we ever written is on there but who knows." For a full report, check the newsletter on Lessthanjake.com
