To make it absolutely clear, Black Sabbath have released a short statement confirming that the band is no more. The band just finished a year long "The End" tour where they played multiple continents. Last week, via instagram, the band posted a short statement that simply read "Black Sabbath 1967-2017." Last month guitarist Tony Iommi stated that he wanted to continue recording, but the recent post appears to put that idea to bed.
