In an article by Rolling Stone, Mike D of the Beastie Boys announced that he is curating a wine list for Hearth & Hound restaurant in L.A. Mike D, who is a wine collector, worked with sommelier Taylor Parsons to build a wine selection. Mike D stated ""If you want a glass of wine, you shouldn't have to spend an hour figuring out what that wine is, what you're going to drink." The restaurant is owned by Ken Friedman and chef April Bloomfield, who run the Spotted Pig restaurant in NYC.
