About two months ago, Noodles stated that he would not be joining The Offspring on their current tour with Sublime with Rome due to a "sudden family matter.". Recently, he stated that he will now be rejoining the tour on September 8. He stated: "I'm beyond stoked to announce that I will be rejoining the tour this week in Chicago. I want to thank all the fans for your kind words of support while I dealt with a situation at home (which is greatly improved)". During Noodles' absense, Todd Morse from H2O, Tom Thacker from Sum 41 and Jonah Nimoy handled guitar duties.
