Tom Petty passed away on Monday night at age 66. Earlier that day he was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest in his Malibu home. Paramedics found that he had a pulse and transported him to the UCLA Medical Center. At the hospital he couldn't be revived and died peacefully at 8:40 p.m. PST surrounded by family and friends. Petty's final release was with his band Mudcrutch (originally his early band before super stardom) titled Mudcrutcth 2.
