Operation Ivy's Dave Mello joins Kicker

Dave Mello, who is most famous for drumming for Operation Ivy, has joined Oakland's finest punk supergroupKicker. Mello will be handling drum duties for the band going forward. Kicker also includes punk rock's most famous roadie, Pete the Roadie, as well as Mauz of Dystopia and Dave Ed of Neurosis. The group released Rendered Obsolete in 2016. They're working on their new album right now and that will be out in 2018 via Tankcrimes Records.
