Rancid singer/guitarist Tim Armstrong will be playing the part of a music venue bouncer in an upcoming independent film. Directed and produced by Michael Cuenca, I'll Be Around will be released in 2018 and "follows a group of bands, fans, hopefuls, struggling creatives and wanderers who are connected through a series of events over the course of a day at a small post-punk music festival." The film is co-written by Dan Rojay and sponsored byt The Film Collaborative, a non-profit collective that distributes films.
