While the Night Birds are on a temporary leave of absence while they handle real life duties, vocalist Brian Gorsegner has used the free time to start a new band. It's called Character Actor and includes Jeff Schroeck of The Ergs! on vocals and guitar, Evan Kiel of Forward to Death on bass, and Gorsegner on drums. According to Gorsegner, the band has been "in the works" for about two years, has written some songs, will be playing some shows, and has plans to record some material at the end of this month.
