Vancouver new wave outfit Girlfriends and Boyfriends have released a video for their song "Hope Was In The Way" off their 2015 LP Our Garden out via Pop Era Records. This track is packed full of Peter Hook influenced bass lines, electric drum fills, and all the swimmy guitar riffs you can handle. Director Wayne Morehart did a great job creating a video that felt like an 80's video featuring hand-drawn animation and comic framing. Check it out below.
