It's Limp Bizkit Week at Punknews!!!!
by

Twice per year we do "band weeks" where we focus on one seminal band for an entire week. So, following in the wake of Ramones Week, Black Flag week, Clash Week, and Jello Week, we're focusing on a more contemporary band. All this week, we will be doing the deep dive into Limp Bizkit's history. Few bands have crossed cultural boundaries like Bizkit, who has mixed punk with metal with Hip Hop with pop with country.

So, that means we will be running Bizkit reviews all week long. We also have some great interviews scheduled, along with some cool editorials and playlists. Some of the more interesting aspects of the Bizz that we will be focusing on will be the proto-Bizkit demo tape Limp Biscuit, the bands that led to the formation of this seminal group (Split 26, Malachi Sage, 10 Foot Shindig), and frontman Fred Durst's time as Senior Vice President of A&R at Interscope. We also have uncovered a previously unpublished tour diary of LB's first European tour with Soulfly and Cold as well as a track by track discussion of the group's most overlooked album Results May Vary with some LB insiders. So, we'll see you right here first thing Monday morning and we will kick off our most exciting band week yet!
