"Janey" is a garage-punk barnstormer. Propelled by a sprinting riff that pivots between The Ventures and the Stooges, the song features vocalist Paul Caveman taking cues from Thee Oh Sees and David Johansen as he does his best to make the grimy look glamorous. Of course, it all stays pretty grimy in the end, which is exactly what a fuzzed out, blown out, boozed out banger like this is supposed to do.
