Elvis Costello has canceled upcoming European tour dates. Earlier today, the singer revealed that he was recently diagnosed with “a small but very aggressive cancerous malignancy." However, in his statement, Costello reveals that he has already had surgery, and is in recovery. He said, "Six weeks ago my specialist called me and said, 'You should start playing the Lotto.' He had rarely, if ever, seen such a small but very aggressive cancerous malignancy that could be defeated by a single surgery." Costello revealed that he has also recorded a new album with the Imposters. Read the statement here.
