Tom Delonge

Per an article over at Ars Technica, recent SEC filings submitted by To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science Inc. indicate that the group is deeply in debt. "Operating expenses… and accumulated deficit" have reached a staggering loss of nearly $38 million as of June, 2018.

The organization, which grew out of former Blink-182 guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge's interest in UFO phenomena, uses generic buzzwords to explain what their mission is. When you parse it down, they believe that aliens and UFOs are out there, and that if humans can get ahold of and reverse engineer that technology, life would be better.

Deeply in debt, whatever activities they may have already embarked on may be curtailed. However, per their website, they are still looking for investors.
