Newfoundland-by-way-of-Montreal pop-punk/indie-pop act BBQT have a new EP out today titled Nice View. The 5-song set follows the band's 2018 EP All For Show, and coincides with the band's appearance at the inaugural Side by Side Weekend, which kicks off today in Ottawa, Ontario. The new EP will be released by Brain Gum Records (Average Times, PRIORS), with the All For Show songs on the b-side. An LP compiling the songs from both sets is expected later this year.

BBQT will play a release show tonight, Thursday, July 25, at Brasserie Beaubien in Montreal with Lonely Parade and Barnacle on the bill. Their Side by Side appearance will be Saturday night at Black Squirrel Books with Sleep Late, The Thrill, and Panic Attack. BBQT features guitarist/vocalist Amery Sandford, guitarist Jack Bielli, bassist Mikey Melikey, and drummer Allison Graves. They recorded their new material with Micah Brown.
