Peter Murphy suffers heart attack

Peter Murphy suffers heart attack
by John Gentile 6 years ago

Unfortunately, on Tuesday night, Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy suffered a heart attack. Murphy as taken to a New York city hospital and “stents [were] placed in his right coronary artery and [he] started on medications to manage his heart condition.” As of last night, Murphy was still in the hospital. Murphy was in the middle of a NYC residency where, over a number of dates, he was playing most of his albums in full, a Bauhaus show, and a David Bowie set. We wish Murphy a speedy recovery.
