Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth is selling a small portion of his personal collection. World of Echo, located in London, will sell over 300 records from Moore's personal collection, including a good number of rarities. They stated that the collection includes: "broad range of genres, spanning multiple variants of jazz, noise, hardcore, black metal, ethnographic, punk and post-punk, no-wave, krautrock, ambient, electronic and the avant garde." Doors open for the sale on October 5. Meanwhile, Moore is about to release a three disc set of instrumentals, called Spirit Counsel. That's out September 21 via the Daydream Library Series.
