Out of the blue,Open City have revealed that they are now recording their second album. They stated via social media: "Tracking drums for LP2 with @dehuman1zer who is a true gentle genius. Only the weird in here. Last pic: geared up for good luck @ The Headroom Studio."

The band was fairly quiet in 2019 and 2018. Their last release was City of Ash [7-inch] in 2017.
