Recently, Barrie Masters, singer of Eddie and the Hot Rods suddenly passed away. Last week, the band stated that they plan to continue onward as The Hot Rods. They stated: "We have been completely overwhelmed by messages from fans and Barrie’s family encouraging us to carry on performing. With this in mind we have decided to perform shows in 2020 as The HotRods , every show will in memory of the great man himself. Our first confirmed show is in France on Jan 18th more dates to follow.
