After seven years, This Day Forward has decided to move on. The band has released the following statement:

Hello everyone. After nearly 7 years as a band, the members of This Day Forward have decided to go their separate ways. We leave for our last tour in about 2 weeks and then we will be doing 5 last shows in December. Please check out the tour dates and come rock with us at these last few shows. Also, whatever merchandise we have now is it, and will not be reprinted so if anybody is interested please pick up a last tshirt or hoodie (from the merch page at www.thisdayforward.com/merchpage.html) We'd like to thank everyone who has supported us, helped us, or has believed in us over the past 7 years. We met many great people and made many amazing friends. Thank you to all of you.
