On a recent GainesvilleBands.com message board thread, Aaron Feibus, singer/guitarist of The Æffect announced that he will be leaving the band. Feibus' statement:
"just wanted to let you all know that this Saturday (12/13/03) will be my departing show with the aeffect. its been an awesome few years. in case i forget to say it at the show, thanks to everyone who has helped us out. steve and brad will be keepin' the band going and i may make infrequent contributions. we're all still on great terms and my reasons for leaving are strictly personal. i'm really proud of the band and all that we accomplished together."
