Clann Zú are together in Australia and are planning to enter the studio on January 11th to record the follow-up to Rua [review]. The new album should be out by late spring/early summer. The band will play some shows in Australia, followed by a four week tour in Europe and a four week tour in Canada throughout July.

Other G7 bands are also gearing up for 2004 releases. GFK have just finished recording their new record, tentatively titled If Liberty Is Not Granted, It Should Be Taken. The band is headed to Europe on January 12th and will return a month later to mix the record for a May/June release. Greg Macpherson has been writing his next full length. In the meantime an acoustic EP titled Maintenance will be out at the end of March. Mico, Warsawpack and Propagandhi are all writing for upcoming releases, check the G7 news page for more.
