Following his no-show at a planned solo acoustic show in London last night comes reports Pete Doherty has decided to quit The Libertines to move to Paris to help beat his drug addiction. He is quoted as saying: "I want to be taken seriously as a musician - not just [portrayed] as a junkie.." As of right now, they haven't ruled out a possible reunion after Doherty returns, nor has anything been said about their dates this summer which include the Love Music Hate Racism Festival and the Reading and Leeds festival.
