I love the punknews apathy toward the warped tour. 3+ Replies

it would be better if it was a reality game show style thing a-la the amazing race where all these bands had to separately figure out and tour all of the cities and whoever does it first gets to join the army or something

Truthfully, I don't understand why they've added so many "throwback" bands. As much as I'd like to see The Souls, Westbound Train, Bad Religion, The AKAs, etc., it's pretty clear the money is in bans like the three they've just announced.

is our reaction to these shitty new bands the same reaction the 77 punx had to 80s hardcore? 3+ Replies

They were running a video by Forever the Sickest Kids during the pre-game captive-audience shitshow in Cineplex Odeon theatres a few months ago, and however bad I had assumed they were before I had ever actually heard them, it was not nearly as bad as they turned out to be. Is this really what kids are listening to these days? I feel kinda bad for them. 2+ Replies

Forever The Sickest Kids played at my highschool earlier this year. I'm not entirely sure why they were there, but there was an announcement 3rd period that all bandfags and choirfags needed to go down to the auditorium for some assembly. They played an acoustic set and it was pretty shitty. 2+ Replies

Fact. I would listen to Escape the Fate if they were named Escape the Bate. Fact. 1+ Reply

This isn't saying much, but this is the best lineup i've seen in years. 1+ Reply

for good measure they should put the frantic on this and make it officially crap.
