Northstar will be taking some time off, and has cancelled all upcoming shows through the end of the year. The band posted the following message on their site:

We have cancelled all of our upcoming shows for this year. We need some time to take a step back for a while. Hopefully you somewhat understand. Thank you for your support. This has been a rough year.

Replacing them at their December 27th show on Long Island at The Downtown will be labelmates and subsequent headliners As Tall As Lions. Of note are one of the openers, former MovieLife members Brandon Reilly (guitar) and Vinnie Caruana (vocals), who will reunite for a one time-only performance to play an acoustic set of songs. Both members currently front their respective bands Nightmare Of You and I Am The Avalanche.

Northstar released Pollyanna through Triple Crown earlier this year.
