Facing New York has sent us some updates on happenings within the band.

First, the band has announced the amicable departure of keyboardist Rene Carranza, set for early September. Carranza has parted ways with the band in order to continue his education at UC Berkeley.

The band has also announced that it has been tapped to provide support for Coheed and Cambria this fall, with plans to support the popular band at the Glasshouse in Pomona for a three day stretch from August 12th through the 14th.

The band continues to support their 2005 album Facing New York released via Five One Inc.
