"According to a letter being mailed around to RBF fans today, it would seem that Mojo records, home of Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, Cherry Poppin' Daddies etc, has been purchased by Jive Records, home to "Brat"-eeny Spears among others. This is scary: we're talking about a couple of great bands under the influence of the most non-independant independant label around! This is not good!" I don't think I'm as worried. I doubt Jive will turn Reel Big Fish into a boy band, they aren't pretty enough. Regardless, I'm curious to how this will pan out.
