Even though he dismissed the idea of a new album last year, the Circle Jerks' Greg Hetson has announced that they are aiming to record in June:

We have been working hard with Producer Dimitri Coats from the Burning Brides and are close to our goal of recording in June. We are all excited and think we have a classic sounding record that you will all enjoy. .Check out his band too…they rock!

With the exception of a single song released in 2007, the band has not released any new studio material since 1995's Oddities, Abnormalities, and Curiosities.
