Joey Cape has announced via his MySpace blog that he has begun recording a new album, writing:

"Planning to record some of the songs I play live, Bad Astronaut, Lag Wagon. Also some new ones."

The Bad Astronaut and Lagwagon frontman released his first solo full-length, Bridge, in 2008. That record is currently streaming at Cape's Punknews.org page.
