by Aubin Paul Dischord 16 years ago

Influential post-punk outfit Jawbox have announced plans to reissue their 1994 major label album, For Your Own Special Sweetheart. The reissue will be handled jointly by Dischord Records and Desoto Records and will be remastered and packaged with bonus tracks.

The band went back to engineer Bob Weston (Pixies, Jawbox, Shellac) to remaster the album which will surface on vinyl and CD. It will also feature the three tracks from the band's out-of-print, Savory EP. The vinyl LP will include a coupon for a free digital download of all the songs as well.
