Nominations for this year's Junos have been announced. Notable among them are Billy Talent racking up four nominations (Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, Single of the Year), Tegan And Sara and Alexonfire receiving nods for Alternative Album of the Year and Rock Album of the Year, respectively, Dine Alone Records artist Arkells being nominated for New Group of the Year, and Emily Haines and James Shaw of Metric receiving nods for Songwriter of the Year, in addition to the band being nominated for Group of the Year and Alternative Album of the Year.
