Omar Rodríguez-López announces 37-song retrospective compilation

Prolific guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López of The Mars Volta and At the Drive-In has announced plans to release a 37-song (38 on vinyl) retrospective of his solo career. The record is titled Telesterion and is due out April 16, 2011 via Sargent House. The collection culled from his multiple solo and collaborative albums which number more than 25 as of right now. Telesterion will feature a 20-page booklet of artwork and text outlining the scope of his work, with liner notes by art director Sonny Kay.
