Nevermind to be re-released for 20th anniversary

Contributed by eatdogs, Posted by Aubin Paul Universal Music Group 11 years ago

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's groundbreaking major label debut, Nevermind, their label will be reissuing an elaborate four CD/1 DVD set with previously unreleased tracks, rarities, B-sides, alternate mixes, rare live recordings and BBC radio appearances. The DVD will be made up of an entire unreleased Nirvana concert. The set is due out September 19, 2011.

The album, which sold 30 million copies, had the side effect of drawing mainstream attention to indie labels like Sub Pop Records and SST Records.
