Punknews is super, super excited to debut the new video by Il Sogno del Marinaio, the band featuring bassist Mike Watt, drummer Andrea Belfi and guitarist Stefano Pillia. The video is for "Nanos' Waltz," off the band's brand new album Canto Secondo, out via Clenchedwrench Records.

The video finds the trio once again experimenting in contrast and tension. Watt's voice dances with a drifting guitar before the band abruptly pulls the handbrake. The band then rips out riffs that are so out of place, they feel right at home. Unpredictability in composition and mastery of technique -- That's what Mike Watt is all about.
