Nate Mendel, currently of the Foo Fighters and formerly of Sunny Day Real Estate, has announced his debut solo album. The record is titled If I Kill This Thing We're All Going To Eat For A Week and is due out March 10, 2015 via Dine Alone Records.

Mendel isn't the first Foo Fighter to step out on his own, guitarist Chris Shiflett released music with both The Dead Peasants and Jackson United.
